I am so excited today to share with you a look at this fairytale Disney World wedding! Disney’s Grand Floridian is always one of my favorite wedding venues but this particular celebration was unique in that it had two venues. We began with a gorgeous ceremony at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion and regal portraits around the Grand Floridian. We then continued with a luxurious reception at European inspired Bella Cosa Lakeside.
Elena and Tommy came from Australia with 14 of their closest family and friends in order to celebrate their wedding. Their vision was undeniably romantic and intimate with enchanting detail and lush florals. Elena wanted a true fairytale that would feel timeless yet with undeniably chic touches. The two locations allowed Elena and Tommy to have moments that were the epitome of a classic Fairytale Disney World Wedding as well as moments that were modern European luxury.
At first, Elena began the day with an awe inspiring statement ballgown. It featured beaded detail, ample layers, and a corset back. HMUA Belinda Ni created a natural glowing look for Elena that could also transform throughout the day to suit each of the bride’s looks. Elena was the embodiment of a Disney princess and the inspiration of every little girl we passed at the Grand Floridian!
I drew so much inspiration for their portraits from both of these locations throughout the day. We focused on regal portrature at the Grand earlier in the day that would showcase the grandeur of the bride’s ceremony gown. We especially utalized the iconic stairs, ornate white bridge, and Cinderella’s Carriage ride to create a sense of magic. Meanwhile, we created much more fashion oriented moments at European inspired Bella Cosa.
Later on, for the reception, she changed into a jaw dropping Galia Lahav gown. The groom also changed into a sleek white tux to compliment her gown. Elena even had a third gown specifically for their choreographed first dance. It twirled like a dream!
They worked together with florist In Bloom to make their floral vision come to life. Together, they planned a color palette that was soft and feminine but that could also transition between both venues. In Bloom lined the ceremony aisle with tall arrangements in pastel colors in order to compliment the soft blue of the Wedding Pavilion. Later, for the reception, these florals were repurposed to adorn the sweetheart table. They also covered the sweetheart table with a floral canopy. They then went all out with a lavish floral ceiling over the single long guest table.
Planner and Day of Coordinator Envy Lifestyle and Event Design both organized vendors and ensured everything was prepared for their celebration. Further, rentals from A Chair Affair, delicious bites from Arthur’s Catering, and gentle music by Emma the Harpist set the reception scene full of luxurious touches and created the most beautiful night.
