I have the most beautiful Lowndes Grove Wedding to share with you today! Charleston has long been one of my favorite cities. With its pastel rainbow houses, swaying palms and low oaks, ocean breezes and incredible cuisine, I truly treasure Charleston days. And Lowndes Grove is the wedding crown jewel of a city resplendent with beauty.
Nestled within lush gardens and framed by majestic oaks, Lowndes Grove offers a picturesque backdrop for couples seeking an enchanting celebration. The historic charm of the estate, with its stately manor and manicured grounds, sets the stage for an unforgettable affair. From the tranquil waterfront vistas to the grandeur of the Southern architecture, every detail exudes sophistication and refinement.
Styled to perfection, the bride’s layered tulle dress exudes ethereal elegance, contrasting strikingly with the vibrance of her jungle inspired bouquet. Wild Ivory Beauty elevated this balance with a glowing, natural look that emphasized the bride’s luminous blue eyes and fashion-forward haircut. Complementing her ensemble, the groom wore a classic white tuxedo. Together, their attire harmonized effortlessly with the romantic setting.
Reception Design
For the reception, Hill and Co Creative team was inspired to create a vibrant palette of jungle inspired colors. A Lowndes Grove wedding can’t help but be filled with romance and beauty; however, for this intimate day, the team sought to create a truly unique and transformative experience. They worked with a bevy of artisans to bring the colorful vision to life in Lowndes’ iconic yellow room. Florist Stephanie Gibbs Events incorporated exotic flowers in hues of magenta, pink, green, and cream with touches of blue and orange to create an artfully wild centerpiece. Meanwhile, custom linens, carefully sourced rentals, and a bespoke rug wove together the colors and story of the day.
Later in the day the bride changed into a chic bridal mini gown. An oversized bow and delicate floral appliques accented the dress.
