Set among the peaks of New Hampshire’s stunning White Mountains, an intimate group of the Bride and Groom’s closest friends gathered for a weekend of joyful celebration, phenomenal food, and precious memories together. Matt and Andrea’s vision for their wedding was centered around their love for their closest friends and family and the community they wanted to build bringing their families together. They booked a small Inn in northern New Hampshire and planned a weekend of festivities. From the rehearsal dinner slash murder mystery party to sunrise yoga and endless hikes, this weekend was a treasured gathering for all who came.
Matt and Andrea took such care not only in their care for their guests, but also in the vendor team they assembled to bring this weekend to life. Mindy of Private Weddings and Events worked with the couple to thoughtfully curate every detail and navigate the logistics of planning a destination gathering. Meanwhile Clementina Floral Co created floral masterpieces for every part of the day. The florals perfectly reflected the late summer early autumn transition of this September day and the bride’s gorgeous bouquet with trailing delicate greenery was one of my all time favorites.
Caterer Autumn Nomad started off the weekend with a rehearsal dinner that embraced both the Bride and Groom’s hometowns. On the one hand, Florida favorites with a vintage feel, on the other a classic New England spread. Autumn Nomad continued to impress guests the next day with a stunning hand painted two tier cake.
One of my favorite parts of the weekend was sunset over the al fresco reception. The couple chose to have an extra long single table set up so all their guests could dine together. The table was adorned with decadent and artful floral arrangements, a plethora of glowing candles, and custom name cards with the couple’s custom wax seal. As cocktail hour made it’s way to dinner, the sun set over the distant mountains and market lights twinkled above creating the most intimate, joyful gathering that celebrated the best of what small weddings have to offer.
