Today, I’m excited to share a look at Mackenzie and Colin’s Elegant & Timeless Park Chateau Wedding. This stunning two day celebration began with a traditional Catholic ceremony near their hometown before their wedding day at Park Chateau. Despite all day rain, Mackenzie and Colin never stopped smiling and the love and joy they shared with their friends and family was truly inspiring.
The Wedding Day
With scaffolded rooftops and manicured gardens, Park Chateau is a European inspired dream. Even in the midst of rain, Park Chateau maintains its romantic allure. The multitude of walkways and exquisitely designed spaces provides a beautiful backdrop for the most beautiful celebrations. The venue’s elegant architecture stands gracefully while glowing candles fill the chapel and ballroom with a warm, romantic glow.
The legendary Park Chateau service further elevates each event they host. Their white glove service takes care of everything imaginable, ensuring you are comfortable, relaxed, and able to enjoy each moment of your day.
The opening of their new on site hotel, The Chateau Grand Hotel, further elevates the possibilities and experience of a Park Chateau wedding by allowing your family, bridal party, and out of town guests to stay on site.
Mackenzie’s bridal look featured a classic structured A line dress with intricate lace detail. For her April event, she chose a gown with long sleeves and wore a dramatic full length train. Her beauty look was radiant with glowing skin and soft glam, perfectly enhancing her exuberant smile. Colin, meanwhile, complimented her elegant look with a timeless classic tuxedo.
After their emotional first look, we began portraits at their exquisite staircase installation. Dahlia Floral used white hydrangeas and roses to create their signature elegant and luxurious look. Cascading waves of fluffy white blooms lined the staircase creating a wow moment as guests entered the celebration.
For their wedding party, the couple chose to continue the refined, elegant look with all black for the groomsmen and bridesmaids.
The Ceremony & Reception
Colin and Mackenzie’s heartfelt ceremony was held in Park Chateau’s beautiful chapel. With it’s soaring vaulted ceiling, warm wood beams, and glowing candlelight, the chapel set the tone for a romantic, intimate night.
For the reception, Dahlia Florals filled the ballroom with fluffy white arrangements. They capitalized on the high, ornate ceilings with tall arrangements and an abundance of florals adorning the stage and sweetheart table.
Sneak Away Shots
As the night drew to a close, we snuck away for a few after dark portraits in the library. I am utterly obsessed with the romantic, regal, timeless portraits we captured in here! Sneak Away shots are some of my favorites of the reception and create such a different, personality filled, joyful vibe.
