Today I am thrilled to share that this Fine Art Inspired Pomme Radnor Wedding has been featured on Wedding Chicks!
This vibrant, artful wedding, dreamed up by bride and event planner Shannon, overflowed with personal details and thoughtful touches. Working with her team at Thirty4thStreet Events, Shannon envisioned a day filled with soft fall colors and unique, playful details.
Florist Fabufloras beautifully balanced tones of mustard, honey, orange, and pink to create arrangements inspired by crisp fall days. Roses, ranunculus, and fall favorites like dahlias and craspedia filled the bride’s bountiful bouquet. Meanwhile, autumnal blooms transformed the wooded secret garden ceremony site, colorful flowers bringing the lush green surroundings to brilliant life. Customized signs and artworks guided the day from the welcome sign proclaiming “darling, you’re a work of art” to the inspired gallery wall seating chart telling guests “in a room full of art, I’d still stare at you.” And with some of the bride and bride’s mom’s favorite works of art from their own homes displayed on easels throughout the reception space, guests were indeed celebrating in a room full of art!
This day was one of the most detailed, personal celebrations I’ve had the joy of capturing.Just a few of my favorite details included the thoughtful gifts for every groomsman and bridesmaid, handwritten notes on the back of hand painted canvases for each guest and a miniature of the couple’s golden taking a nibble out of the cake. Meanwhile, the florist hid small Pokemon figures among the arrangements at the ceremony and reception for Shannon and Chris to find as a nod to their love of Pokemon Go dates. Every aspect of this day truly showed Shannon and Chris’ love brought to life.
It was an absolute honor and joy to capture this beautiful day. Shannon and Chris were a delight and their love and friendship was truly inspiring. After the wedding, Shannon sent me the sweetest note, here is just a piece of it:
“I absolutely love the artistic vision that Katie had for our photos. She truly captured the joy and emotions of the day in such a beautiful way. My favorite photos are the ones showing the emotions of myself, my husband and our guests. Those are the details you miss on the day so it’s really beautiful to see them in the photos. I will recommend Katie to any and everyone, but especially to those that understand the value of having timeless, incredible photos. It is the only thing you will have after the wedding ends and trusting Katie to capture those moments was the best decision we made for our day.”
