Today I’m shonored to share a look at Becca and Marc’s French Garden Oheka Castle Wedding, coming soon to the front page of Style Me Pretty. Oheka Castle is what romantic, European inspired wedding dreams are made of. On this idyllic Autumn Day, Becca and Marc celebrated five years of dedication surrounded by an outpouring of love from their friends and family.
Oheka Castle exudes timeless elegance, making it the perfect canvas for a French garden inspired wedding. Its meticulously manicured gardens, reminiscent of the grandeur of Versailles, provide a picturesque backdrop for romantic ceremonies and stunning photography. The castle’s opulent architecture and lavish interiors add an air of sophistication, elevating every moment of the celebration.
Oheka Castle is not only the host of some of the most spectacular weddings in the United States, but also a boutique hotel with a fantastic restaurant making it, therefore, an ideal for destination weddings.
The bride’s gown perfectly complimented the grandeur and classical beauty of the venue. Bride Rebecca selected a traditional A line given a modern take with layers of flowing tulle and delicate embroidery. We highlighted the etherial tulle by capturing the luminous way it caught the light. For her beauty, she went with a glowing, natural look and chose gentle waves in a half up style for a timeless, romantic feel. Complementing her ensemble, the groom wore a classic white tuxedo.
Becca chose ivy green silk gowns for her bridesmaids to reference the ivy covered walls of Oheka.
Garden Ceremony
For the reception, In Full Bloom Events created a truly breathtaking square arch to compliment the formal French garden. They focused on whites, creams, and greens with pops of gentle pink to create a soft, romantic feel. Two large, colorful arrangements welcomed guests to the celebration and rose petals lined the aisle.
Reception
For the reception, Rebecca and Marc envisioned a floral filled, elegant space filled with personal touches. Each of their tables had a custom watercolor illustration of important locations they’d travelled to. Their own head table was the Chantilly table in honor of their France proposal.
