Today we’re celebrating Douglass and Tyler’s utterly breathtaking Modern Coastal Wedding. The lush florals, the beautiful natural landscape, and impeccable details created an unforgettable night of beauty for their friends and family. Beyond an exquisitely stunning night, though, they also incorporated their adventurous and lighthearted personalities through the magnificent fireworks show, talented tattoo artist, and a bevy of fun details. Douglass and Tyler’s commitment and joy was infectious. Their thoughtfulness, generosity, and care were evident at every turn. Beneath a radiant fuchsia and gold sunset, the couple shared vows, laughed with lifelong friends, and partied the night away.
The Wedding Day
The wedding took place at the Bride’s stunning childhood home. The couple was surrounded by family, friends, and years of joyful memories. Planners Bella Sposa Events took every advantage of the property, designing a waterfront ceremony in front of the home paired with a waterfront reception in the backyard. The vision was to create a waterfront garden wedding.
Douglass and Tyler wanted to create a day as beautiful as it was fun. It was important to them to have a sense of intimacy and relaxation in their day while still providing their guests with a luxurious, unique experience. They beautifully wove together their day with common threads of color, texture, and personalized attention.
As their closest friends and family looked on, the bride and groom shared an emotional first look in the backyard. Under swaying palms and the golden light of a Florida afternoon, we created their timeless portraits.
Douglass’s bridal look featured a magnificent Amsale gown with delicate floral embroidery and a perfectly cinched waist. Her beauty look was radiant with fresh, glowing skin that accented her beautiful blue eyes. Meanwhile, her golden hair was left down in romantic, soft waves. Tyler, meanwhile, complimented her elegant look with a timeless classic tuxedo and a classic Cartier Tank watch.
The bride was surrounded by the love and celebration of her seven bridesmaids and three flour girls. Each bridesmaid wore a unique dress in a soft blue that perfectly complimented the floral color palette.
The Ceremony
Douglass and Tyler were married beneath the swaying moss of large oak trees. Their lush floral aisle and asymmetrical floral pillars beautifully bridged the waterfront landscape. Bella Sposa Events perfectly timed the ceremony so that the warm golden sunlight shone over and through the house just as the bride and her father walked outside.
Cocktail
Once the ceremony ended, the party began, and it was truly a special night. Guests mingled by the custom bar while watercolor artists painted custom guest portraits. Mingling was short lived, though, as guests were led down to the dock where charcuterie cups and pontoon boats were waiting to take them on a scenic tour around the lake system. The golden hour tour finished in the backyard where a once in a lifetime reception awaited the guests.

Reception Design
For the reception, The Floral Way utterly transformed the backyard space. The inspiration was to create a Modern Coastal Waterfront Wedding by incorporating classic coastal blues with whimsical garden florals. The family’s pool was covered to create a custom dance floor, and the string light covered yard was lined with rows of family style tables. Custom linens and whimsical floral runners lined each table while a variety of pillar candles and tapers were set out to create the most romantic glow. Every detail was intentionally and thoughtfully selected from the miniature brass lamps to the elegant champagne coups.
As the sun set, the entire space was cast in the most magnificent fuchsia, gold, and magenta tones. The warm glow of the candle plentiful candles and market lights welcomed guests just as the sunset cast it’s most vibrant tones.
Reception
Douglass and Tyler imagined a night entirely full of fun, celebrating, and beauty. After the couple’s choreographed first dance, the bride and her Dad surprised everyone with a rowdy party number. After an exuberant dance set, everyone settled in for laughter filled speeches and plentiful champagne. Dinner didn’t last long, though, as guests explored the space. From mini golf and dancing to on demand tattoos, the night was utter magic.
To top it all off, the couple planned a truly epic fireworks display. Timed to the music of their beloved Happily Ever After show, fifteen minutes of magnificent fireworks and coordinated drone choreography wowed guests. It was an unforgettable send off to an absolutely perfect day.
