Today I’m sharing the ultimate inspiration for the romantic autumn tented wedding of all of our dreams! From the luxurious, botanical stationary to the flower filled ceremony and intimate tent, every element of this day was crafted with timeless details and intentional storytelling in mind.
Design inspiration for this tented autumn wedding began with honoring the colors of the season. Planner Poppi and Co and Florist Wild Indigo created a palette of blush, cream, mauve, and pops of honey. Organic florals were interwoven throughout the design from the whimsical bouquet to the bride’s flower embroidered gown.
The Bride chose to focus on a natural look that would highlight her striking eyes. Bold brows and a soft pink lip enhanced her features while paired back jewelry allowed the unique embroidery of her gown to shine. For her hairstyle, her cascading auburn waves were equally refined and timeless.
Stylist April Raymond utilized Still Waters Paperie’s stunning invitations and details to set the tone for a romance filled day in a variety of motifs. She incorporated fresh fruit and preserved butterflies to add natural texture and old world European charm.
Ceremony Design
The intimate ceremony perfectly balanced the elegant romance of abundant florals with the coziness of Fall. The centerpiece of the ceremony was an oversized, flower laden arch. Meanwhile, baskets upon baskets of fresh flowers enveloped guests in a sweet rose scented breeze.
The ceremony was set in the gardens between the formal hedge maze and stately trees of the natural landscape. The romantic Autumn color palette perfectly aligned with the early October leaves falling from the surrounding trees.
Cocktail Hour
Cocktail hour was a highlight of the day. Country Creek Farmhouse Tables created a stunning, layered charcuterie masterpiece laden with flatbreads, cheeses, and fruits. Guests mingled on the sunny patio while toasting the couple’s signature drinks and watching the sun set over the tent below.
Reception Design
The team crafted the reception design to facilitate intimate conversation and a variety of gathering opportunities. Continuing with the organic, abundant floral design, the tent entrance welcomed guests with a jaw dropping display. Billowing draped linens framed the entire space. Meanwhile, Wild Indigo constructed a life sized twisting tree full of lush greenery to center the space. The layout combined a long head table with assorted lounge spaces to create the ultimate night of intimate gathering and joyful cheers. Once the ceremony ended, the team utilized the flower filled ceremony arch to create a focal point for the couple’s whimsical cake.
While day turned to night, the candles, rattan lamps, swinging pendants and overhead twinkle lights came to life. The entire space was illuminated in the dreamiest warm glow. Guests dined on a refined multi course meal filled with locally sourced ingredients and sipped on the couple’s favorite wines. After dinner, cozy blankets set throughout the space kept guests warm and the laughter, cheers, and celebrating carried off into the cool night.
