Longwood Gardens is a truly a horticultural wonder and the ideal setting for a sweet engagement session. Just an hour outside Philadelphia, the sprawling property is ever-changing. Installations vary with the season so there’s always something new and inspiring to explore. The formal gardens, with tree lined paths, bubbling fountains, and European architecture juxtapose the more untamed cottage style floral gardens to give visitors something curious around every turn.
Longwood Gardens engagement sessions provide such a diversity of settings, through Spring, Summer, and Fall, it’s an ideal venue to capture your unique love story. While I have a few favorite areas of the property, the rotating nature of the gardens are forever inspiring. Longwood Gardens engagement sessions are also ideal to turn into a full date night. With Glen Mills and West Chester so close by, there’s plenty of excellent restaurants to turn your session into the perfect date night.
This Longwood Gardens Engagement session with Maggie and Nico was truly the most perfect Spring night. We roamed the property, taking full advantage of the buttery golden hour light. We connected over our own love of gardening as we ventured from the Italian Water Garden to the Peony Gardens to the Formal Gardens before ending the night with a sweet sunset in the Rose Garden. I can not wait to celebrate their Ryland Inn wedding together next year!
